Vanessa loves to tok. "Yesterday on the Etna…" she captioned a recent photo from one of her adventures. "Hiking is one of the best ways to get exercise. No matter what type of trail you find yourself on, hiking is a great whole-body workout—from head to toe and everything in between," says the National Parks Service. Some of the physical benefits include building stronger muscles and bones, improving your sense of balance, improving your heart health, and decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems. It also offers many mental health benefits, according to a Stanford University study. 

Vanessa also makes sure to get enough rest. "I love sleeping ! And I can easily sleep through 12 hours if you let me," she captioned a post. What are the health benefits of sleep? According to the Sleep Foundation, getting enough z's is a mood booster, promotes heart health, regulates blood sugar, improves mental function, restores your immune system, helps relieve stress, and aids in weight loss. 

Vanessa gets her nutrients via juice. "My day almost always starts with a fresh squeezed juice! Celery , apple , lemon. 🍎Or: carrot and ginger. D These are my absolute favorites," she wrote on social media.   

Vanessa goes on long walks with her dog. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace

Vanessa also plays tennis. Here she is making a racquet on the court.
