BLACKPINK Release Music Video Teaser for "Kill This Love"

Just days before making their comeback, BLACKPINK has released the teaser for their upcoming music video for “Kill This Love.” The 22-second clip features a snippet of the new single, which has blaring trumpets complemented by a synthetic beat, hyping fans up for what’s about to come. The clip also shows the girls alternating between different sets and outfits, with the final few seconds showing them in Lara Croft-esque clothing extending their left arms outward, proclaiming, “Let’s kill this love!”

The new single will be part of the group’s upcoming EP of the same name, which will have five tracks in total, including a remix of their smash hit, “DDU-DU-DDU-DU.”

BLACKPINK fans have been waiting for new music from the four-piece for a while, since their last comeback was in June 2018. The group first teased their new comeback during their appearance on Strahan and Sarah, where they revealed that they have been busy in the studio working on a new album. “We really are working really hard every day in the studio,” Rosè said.

The group will release their new EP this Friday, April 5th. Following the release, BLACKPINK will perform at the Coachella music festival on April 12th and 19th. They will also be performing a set of shows throughout North America for the months of April and May.
