Austen Kroll Denies Dating Kristin Cavallari Says Theyre Just Friends

Over the last few weeks, Austen Kroll has come under fire for supposedly being in a relationship with Kristin Cavallari following her controversial split from Jay Cutler. Page Six reported today that Austen actually came out this week to explain just how he and Kristin’s friendship became a thing.

The Southern Charm star, Kroll, argued that he and Kristin are merely friends, but it all started with their mutual friend, Conover. The rumors of their possible romance started earlier in the month when party footage spread online.

During an episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Thursday, the 33-year-old, Kroll, said she “slid into Craig’s DMs” and claimed she was going to be in town, and they all decided to go out and have dinner together.

According to Conover, who appeared on Watch What Happens Live!, his girlfriend, Natalie Hegnauer was also there for dinner so clearly not much was going on between them. Moreover, Cavallari has reportedly been dating the 37-year-old Jeff Dye, the comedian.

Kroll explained to the host that things have been different for Kristin lately; she just got out of a relationship that lasted over ten years. Kroll went on to say that she wasn’t looking for anything serious, and didn’t want to jump into anything romantic, especially with him, because he already has kids.

In case you missed it, footage of Kristin riding on top of Austen Kroll‘s shoulders spread online and a lot of people were entirely convinced that she and Austen were dating. Kristin later addressed the rumor and sarcastically said that she didn’t realize she wasn’t “allowed” to have male friends.

Dye, on the other hand, appeared to be a bit more confrontation, writing in the comment section, “he wishes.” As it was just noted, Kristin and Jay Cutler split up earlier in the year amid the coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent lockdowns.

They weren’t the only couple to split this year either. The coronavirus pandemic put significant pressure on couples all over the world in 2020, although, it’s not clear if the pandemic is what led to Jay and Kristin’s decision to break up.
